Jane Stevensen, Engagement Director to the TCFD, CDP

 

Jane is CDP’s Engagement Director to the TCFD - the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. CDP is the leading global NGO in climate disclosure and driving understanding of climate-related financial and long-term risk, and fully supports the TCFD recommendations, completely incorporating them into its disclosure platform. Jane is also a leading member of the Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative Green Finance Advisory Group, providing guidance to Stock Exchanges and Regulators on best practice in adopting sustainable listing requirements.

Prior to joining CDP Jane was Director of Sustainability Advisory Services for Grant Thornton LLP with clients across a broad spectrum of sectors. She is a Natural Resources specialist, starting her career in the international oil & gas industry, and has worked all over the world becoming an expert in stakeholder engagement in fragile environments. She chairs the CDP Oil & Gas Advisory Group, and is working on developing Board level expertise and understanding in Climate risk and opportunity.

She is an affiliate of CISL, the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainable Leadership, a Mentor for Inspiring Women at Inspiring the Future, and a trustee of TCV, The Conservation Volunteers.
